Track System

MHS also have one large field designed as a track system. Developed primarily in the States and increasingly popular in the UK with both vets and owners alike, the basic principle is to ensure horses are motivated to keep moving with water, hay and shelter distributed at different points along the track. The track is ideal for horses with a variety of issues, including weight, foot health, Cushing's and arthritis, to name just a few. With both psychological and physiological benefits being met, the track system is essentially a way to create a semblance of the environment and behaviours healthy horses would enjoy in the wild. Please note limited spaces are available and the track is only suitable for horses who respect movable fencing.
